Call for Blog Contributions
The Society for Court Studies is delighted to invite submissions for our new scholarly blog. As the leading international academic society for royal and princely courts and households from antiquity to the present, our blog will showcase new and exciting research within the field.
The SCS is an interdisciplinary, international organisation, and welcomes submissions from all disciplines, time periods, and countries. Submissions may relate to any aspect of court studies, including, but not limited to:
Architecture
Royalty and courtiers
Progresses, mobility, and travels
Servants and households
Gender and sexuality
Hunting and sport
Religion
Entertainment and performance
Politics and diplomacy
Economics and resources
Research methods
Digital humanities
We encourage submissions from scholars at all stages of their careers regardless of affiliation, including postgraduate researchers, early career researchers, and established academics.
